Our dental team is made
up of knowledgeable, highly qualified people, many with
15-plus years of experience. They work hard to ensure

visits to our office. Our team members are always happy

Dr. Bucher
Dr. John Bucher
began his studies at St. Lawrence University in upstate New York.
His undergraduate degree was in biology. After graduating, he
moved to Houston, Texas and embarked on a research career at
Baylor College of Medicine in cardiovascular sciences.
He co-published several abstracts related to cellular biology.
Dr. Bucher began his dental training at the University of Texas
Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio and received
his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984. He received multiple
academic awards given by the: American Association of Endodontists, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Academy
of General Dentistry, and International College of
Dentists. He also was admitted to the OKU Honor Society. The
following year, he moved back to the Capital District where he
completed a dental residency at St. Clare’s Hospital. In 1986 Dr.
Bucher opened a private practice in Albany, New York.
Dr. Bucher
continues to enhance his skills with continuing education and the
introduction of new technologies into the practice. Currently he
is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), the New York
State Dental Association, the Third District Dental Society and
the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. |

Kris Orciuoli,
Office Manager
Putting the
patient first is Kris’ first priority. She has been in dentistry
for over 30 years and has been with Dr. Bucher's practice since
1986. Having done assisting and front desk duties
throughout that time, she has handled every aspect of patients'
visits. She has a friendly smile and is truly a “people person”.
Most importantly, she listens to her patient’s needs and tries to
help in any way possible. |

Sue Bucher, Front Desk
Sue is the wife of Dr. Bucher and
the newest member of the team. She has been at the front desk
since 2008 and
and loves every part of her day, especially talking with all of
our patients and seeing them smile.
In addition to working at the
front desk, she is a graphic designer with a firm in downtown
Albany. In her spare time she enjoys reading, bicycling
and knitting. She and Dr. Bucher are the parents of two
grown daughters. |
